The Pride Centre has an active partnership with a number of queer focused groups both on and off campus. Because of this, we can provide information about the services offered by groups and service providers on campus and in the community. 

The Pride Centre is a sex-positive safe that provides free condoms, lube, dental dams, and safe sex information. We also provide free menstrual products. 

The Pride Centre also has an extensive resource library and provides resources on many aspects of queer identity, including (but not limited to): coming out, identity, queer relationships, queer sex, healthcare, mental health, and harm reduction.

The Pride Centre hosts two major week-long events during the year: Queerapalooza and Sex Week. We also host or participate in: National Coming Out Day, Trans Day of Remembrance, World AIDS Day, Trans Day of Visibility, Queer History Month, Pride Month, and many others! Depending on volunteer interest, other events can be held and other days recognized. 

Some of these events are planned in collaboration with other USSU Centres and queer groups. 

Throughout the school year, the Centre may host weekly or bi-weekly discussion or event nights led by volunteers!

Pride Centre volunteers are trained to provide support for many topics, including those that are particular to the 2SLGBTQQIA+ community. They can offer informed and confidential support and when appropriate, connect students with further resources and support on or off campus.

Our library has an extensive collection of 200+ books focused on content made by and for the 2SLGBTQQIA+ community.
