Rayna Rahman

Hello! My name is Rayna Rahman pronouns are she/her. I am currently working towards completing a BA Honours in Psychology and a minor in Political Studies. After finishing my undergrad I hope to pursue my Masters in Counselling Psychology, so I can one day live my dream of being an easily-accessible psychologist. Mental health awareness/advocacy is extremely important to me as mental health issues are something I’ve personally dealt with my whole life as well as witnessed loved ones struggle with. Especially being a POC, mental health is something usually not discussed in south asian households. Therefore, I am very passionate about starting conversations, creating safe spaces, ending the stigma, and offering any resources and peer support I can to those who need them. I am also a huge advocate in the ongoing fight against racial injustices and the fights for women’s rights and LGBTQ2S+ rights.

The Help Centre is a warm, friendly positive space that is open to everyone. We have comfy couches and friendly people always willing to chat. We’re here to help students with whatever they may need.
