Student Crew

The USSU Student Crew offers a number of services around campus. Our members, all of legal age, provide security at on and off campus functions and possess a high level of knowledge, experience and accountability. We primarily provide services to operate late-night study in Murray, Health Sciences and Law library. We also offer services like hanging posters, providing overnight security, U of S Bookstore security, Louis events staffing, among others. Furthermore, when on duty Student Crew acts as the eyes and ears of Campus Security.

Job Description:

USSU Student Crew provides a dedicated work force to numerous U of S departments, and ratified student groups. Student Crew staff is responsible for providing excellent customer service to USSU clients in a variety of capacities, which include: event security, event service, and postering. On a day-to-today basis, you will be expected to work on specific jobs assigned to you. To achieve this, you will be required to work both alone and as a part of a team.

Qualifications:

The University of Saskatchewan Students’ Union is looking for energetic, responsible, and self-directed individuals to join our Student Crew team. Must be a current undergraduate or master’s student. However, priority will be given to the current undergraduate students.

We are looking for individuals who can work with little to no supervision as part of a team and who are committed to providing excellent customer service and acting as ambassadors for the USSU. Hours of work are casual and flexible around class schedules.

Requirements:

Obtain valid Serve It Right Saskatchewan (SIRS) Certificate. The course for this certificate is available online. Click here to access the course.
